Most business organizations now employ e-marketing concept because of the positive changes it has brought to marketing .The turnover of most business organizations has increased because organizations can now get closer to customers across more borders 24 hours a day ,7 days a week. “The world of e-marketing opens up the opportunity to get close to customers again..........to speak to them in a way that was not previously possible.’’(Smith and Chaffey,2005)
E-marketing also helps business organization to cut cost. Expenditure on distribution, rent, market research and advertising are reduced or eliminated.
E-marketing makes the expansion of business easy and fast .It helps in building brand names, getting closer to potential customers and open new opportunities (Sterne 1995).

In order to be a successful marketer, creativity is the key. The tutor should stimulate the creative level in students participating in the module. There should not be any wrong answers, just less creative ones. The act of tutoring is a sensitive field that regulates the relaying of information to an audience, and getting them to understand or retain the information.
E-marketing is dynamic and ever evolving aspect of marketing. A tutor has to be aware of all recent developments in this field, bearing in mind that students are exposed to a decent amount of information. The tutor at all times should update notes to avoid the risk of outdated lectures.
The module e-marketing is a practical one and requires a fair deal of practical lessons. This does not in anyway undermine the importance of the theoretical aspect of e-marketing.

Marketing students in the higher institution will have to face the labor market where the competition is extremely hard. The marketing potential, skills and knowledge of these newcomers must be perfect to have a chance to obtain a job. Learning e-marketing became crucial for students in order to be complete in all marketing aspects. Therefore e-marketing as a module/degree in higher institution is not only imperative for the whole fulfillment of the marketing students but provides an opportunity to be adequate and competitive in the marketing evolution.

E-marketing is gaining momentum in all spheres; marketing, shopping, health researches, jump starting businesses, competition, fashion and trend .In this technological age, e-marketing is a cutting edge device in terms of results and impressions (Asplund 2007).
Much as industrial networks by the means of electronic communication, there is still need to incorporate traditional methods of marketing depending on the end users.
Although the approach is superb and applicable in the present and future market conditions, if not managed well, broader and rapid penetration in any given area is likely to be checked. Having said that, strategic planning, more research, sound resource, establishment and contingencies need to form an integral part of the process if the objectives/targets have to be met (Sheth and Sharma 2005).
